Rehabilitated golden eagle returns to the USA
New data from golden eagle's summer trip to Canada helps WVU researcher ensure species' safety
Last year our team telemetered a rehabilitated eagle found in upstate NY. Recently the bird returned to New York and sent data showing where it had spent the summer. The story was picked up by several media news outlets, including West Virginia Unviersity's WVU News, the Grafton Patch (MA), and the NSF's "Science 360".
For details on this story and maps of the bird's movements, see this Katzner Lab page.
